CJ Heat counselors partner directly with CJ Heat athletes to turn their hard work, club experience, and competitive edge into real college opportunities. As part of one of New Jersey’s most respected and fast‑rising volleyball programs, CJ Heat athletes already train in an environment built on discipline, development, and high‑level competition — we help translate that into a clear, confident, and strategic recruiting plan.

We provide personalized guidance through every step of the college‑recruiting process: building standout athlete profiles, creating targeted college lists, preparing highlight reels, coaching athletes on communication with college coaches, and navigating NCAA/NAIA rules and timelines. Our approach is tailored to the unique strengths of CJ Heat players — their grit, their team‑first mentality, and their commitment to growth.

Our mission is simple: empower CJ Heat athletes to find the right collegiate home where they can thrive academically, athletically, and personally. Whether an athlete is aiming for D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or still discovering the right level, we provide the structure, insight, and support to help them stand out and take control of their recruiting journey.

CJ Heat Recruiting Counseling Services

Our recruiting counseling program provides personalized, structured support to help CJ Heat athletes navigate the college recruiting process with confidence and clarity. Services include:

  • Counselor–Athlete Consultation Sessions - Beginning‑of‑season, mid‑season, and end‑of‑season check‑ins to assess progress, adjust strategy, and ensure athletes stay on track.
  • Guidance in Building a Standout Athlete Profile - Support in crafting a polished, compelling profile that highlights athletic strengths, academic achievements, and personal character.
  • Assistance Creating a Targeted College List - Strategic guidance to identify programs that align with the athlete’s academic goals, athletic level, and personal preferences.
  • Support in Developing a College Recruiting Video - Direction on selecting clips, structuring the video, and presenting skills in a way that resonates with college coaches.
  • Coaching on Communication with College Coaches — Support in crafting effective outreach emails and guidance on best practices for engaging with coaches while navigating NCAA and NAIA rules and timelines.

Our approach is tailored to the unique strengths of CJ Heat athletes — their grit, team‑first mentality, and commitment to continuous growth.
